The new Commish...

So here is the scenario. MLB Commissioner Bud Selig steps down for one day and for some really messed up reason, I have been appointed commissioner. Here is how my very busy day would play out.

1. Ban The San Diego Padres from wearing those hideous camouflage Uniforms ever again! Those are clearly the ugliest uniforms ever. I know why they wear them, but there are other ways to support our troops than wearing baby puke colored uniforms.

2. Release the other 103 names. Let’s expose them so others will see that no one is safe! Also, I would change the punishment policy for use of PED’s. 1st offense you are banned for 100 games. 2nd offense, you are banned for life! Seriously, enough is enough!

3. Send the entire Washington Nationals to the minor leagues. Not just the players. I mean the entire franchise! Let’s see if they can win a few down there. Congratulations go to the Pirates. There is now someone worse than you. Nats Town is Awful Town.

4. Appoint Evan Longoria captain of the entire League! Is anyone a better player than this guy? The numbers don't lie.

Okay so maybe I would need a day and a half.

Roy-ale...No Cheese!

Don’t look now, but here come the Royals! You know, The Kansas City Royals? In case you didn’t know, they are still a Major League team. If you would have told me a year ago that the Royals’ bats and pitching would be hitting on all cylinders like this, I would have laughed my crown off! Ewing Kauffman is going to kick his way out of the grave! Well, I would if they spiced up my digs as well as they did. Kauffman Stadium looks pretty amazing this year.

Maybe timing is everything.

Maybe it’s 1985 all over again.

If Zack Greinke has his way it will be. This kid has nothing to be depressed about this year. Six wins, 0.40 ERA and it’s only May! Did someone say Cy Young?

I would be surprised if these guys aren’t in the postseason. The way that division looks they could win it out right! That would be a nice change. They look a lot like The Rays did last year.
